For the July 2025 Week Sauce Jam! Left click to make branches, right click to make leaves. Branches catch water and are made with sunlight, leaves catch sunlight and are made with water. The closer a raindrop lands to your trunk the more water your tree collects. When you have enough moonlight, press space to advance to the next tree.

I like this as a relaxed and slight goal-oriented toy; the aesthetic changes from each tree are pleasant and the gameplay loop being previsible with just a little bit of randomness to it feels just right for a game about growing a tree
More punctual feedback:
- more variety in branch shapes would be interesting
- leaves disappearing when they collect light seems a bit odd; I imagine this exists to avoid endless farming of sunlight/moonbeams, but that could instead be done with the leaves withering over time instead
- a volume control for the music would be nice, it is a bit loud on my PC; the music if very pleasant, though
- the text gets impossible to read during the night stages
Thanks for playing! There's a lot going on but at the same time very little so I'm glad it comes together somewhere in the middle.
